Oklahoma made the list for its videoconferencing solution reducing time and cost for citizens and the Department of Human Services.

General Revenue Fund collections in September were $554.3 million and came in at $9.2 million, or 1.7%, above collections in September of 2018.

General Revenue Fund collections in August were $451.4 million and came in at $2.8 million, or 0.6%, above the monthly estimate. This amount is $3.2 million, or 0.7%, below collections in August of 2018. 

FY 2020 First Month GR Collections Send Mixed Messages

The Office of Management and Enterprise Services approved premium rates for health, dental, life, disability and vision insurance products to be offered to state, education and many local government employees, retirees and dependents for 2020.

General Revenue Fund collections in June were $679.4 million and came in at $10.0 million, or 1.5%, below the monthly estimate. This amount is $52.5 million, or 8.4%, above collections in June of 2018. Total collections for the 2019 fiscal year were $6.86 billion and came in at $354.6 million, or 5.5%, above the 2019 fiscal year estimate and $1.0 billion, or 17.2%, above prior year collections.

General Revenue Fund collections in May were $573.9 million and came in at $5.0 million, or 0.9%, above the monthly estimate. This amount is $76.2 million, or 15.3%, above collections in May of 2018. Total collections over 11 months of the fiscal year are $364.6 million, or 6.3%, above the estimate to date and $953.0 million, or 18.2%, above prior year collections.

General Revenue Fund collections in April were $906.1 million and came in at $60.1 million, or 7.1 percent, above the monthly estimate. This amount is $141.8 million, or 18.6 percent, above collections in April of 2018. Total collections over the first 10 months of the fiscal year are $359.6 million, or 6.9 percent, above the estimate to date and $876.9 million, or 18.5 percent, above prior year collections.

Oklahoma COO and OMES Director John Budd has formed an advisory group to continue the push for improved efficiency, effectiveness and customer orientation in the state's technology service provider.

The group, made up of leaders from 10 different state agencies, will help OMES Information Services identify strategies and priorities that will help shape Oklahoma's technology future.

This amount is $103.4 million, or 25.5%, above collections in March of 2018. Total collections over the first nine months of the fiscal year are $299.5 million, or 6.8%, above the estimate to date and $735.1 million, or 18.5%, above prior year collections.

As director of Legislative and Public Affairs, Caden Cleveland works closely with OMES Chief of Staff Dana Webb and oversees the Public Affairs team. He serves as the spokesperson for the agency and collaborates with all other OMES divisions to communicate with the public and promote OMES. Cleveland, who is a native Oklahoman, earned a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University and worked for the Oklahoma Senate before joining OMES. He lives with his wife, Jessica, and their goldendoodle, Liberty.

Bonnie Campo is the public information manager at OMES. She spent close to 10 years in the broadcast news industry before joining the Public Affairs team in November of 2020. As a benefits communications specialist for the Public Affairs communications team, Amy makes your job in communicating with internal and external customers easier. In addition to copy editing and contributing written content, she also remediates agencywide material for website accessibility.

Ben is always on the lookout for new ideas and his more than three decades as a photojournalist, page designer and informational graphic artist give him tools to help your audience see what you want to say. When not in front of a computer, Ben can usually be found in the garden, in the kitchen or on a mountain trail.

Brittany Coley-Roberts developed and implemented a streamlined OMES open records request process online. Her history as an executive administrative assistant, employee training manager and experience with a variety of software and technical assistant roles helps her be a team player who is willing to contribute to this division in a variety of ways. She has taken significant initiative with OMES’ social media presence and acts as one of two lead administrators on OMES social channels.

Christa earned her B.A. in professional writing with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma and is a lifetime member of the Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society for excellence in journalism and mass communication.
